South Africa – Wine Exports Resume

Good news, the government of South Africa is permitting wine exports to resume.  The information was published in the Government Gazette confirming the update to the current regulations:

1. During the lockdown period, the transportation of the wines and any other fresh produce products at the sea ports and International Airports Designated as Port of Entry for export is allowed.

2. Agricultural Cargo is allowed to be transported to sea ports and International Airports Designated as Ports of Entry and exported to the relevant destination.  The Hillebrand team in South Africa is working to confirm bookings for shipments, but for more information or questions please connect with your Hillebrand local representative or manage your notifications at myHillebrand.
