Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced an increase on the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for the US West Coast due to port congestion..
Effective December 10th, 2021 MSC will increase the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) by USD 1,000 per container, all equipment types, from West Mediterranean ports to US West Coast ports.
West Mediterranean ports include Italy, Spain (including Bilbao), Portugal and southern France (Fos-sur-Mer only).
US West Coast ports include Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles / Long Beach
