Re: Spanish Stevedore Strike

Dear NASA Member:

Please note that there will be a confirmed stevedores strike at all Spanish ports.

The strike will begin on April 28th at 8.00 am CET and will last until May 1st at 8.00 am CET. It will affect all Spanish ports.

For your information, the strikes are being held to protest the proposed European liberalization of port services.

Please kindly keep this information in mind as far as the same may also affect the calls of vessels during the next week.

Our office will keep you informed of future developments and of the cessation of the aforementioned strike at the time of initiation.
