French Truckers Strike.

Re: French Truckers Strike
Dear NASA Member:

As you have all probably heard, there is a trucker's strike in France. The reason for the strike is the increasingly high cost of fuel. As of today most of our bookings have not been affected, but as the week and the strike continue more and more problematic situations arise. The truckers have joined with taxi drivers, farmers and even ambulance drivers to actually block access to the oil yards and refineries.

Not only will cargo be affected as the strike progresses, but also documentation will become an issue because the courier services cannot obtain gas for their delivery trucks. For information regarding your individual shipments and/or documents please contact your customer service representative. We will update you with further developments as soon we are made aware of any changes in the situation.

We thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of NASA. For further information, please contact us at (732) 388-6256.

Best Regards,
