April 30, 2003 Re: New Orleans Truckers Picketing at Area Marine Terminals Dear NASA Member: Nearly all of the independent truckers who walked off the job two weeks ago to demand higher pay and better work conditions returned today after New Orleans port officials spent the weekend brokering a truce between drivers and the trucking firms.
