New Zealand – Strike Action Update – Dec 8-10, Dec 22-25, 2011

Be the Maritime Union of New Zealand has issued a third strike action affecting the Port of Auckland (Bledisloe and Fergusson container terminals and associated road and rail services, but the on-dock empty container depot will remain open). The second strike previously announced has been shortened to 10:30 pm on Thursday December 8th through 10:30 pm on Saturday December 10th, 2011. It had originally been extended toDecember 12th.

The third strike action will be from 10:30pm on December 22nd through 10:30 pm on Sunday December 25th, 2011.
