Update – Occupy Movement planned protests at Oakland, Long Beach, and Seattle Ports on Monday, December 12th, 2011

West Coast ports are preparing for the Occupy Movement protests scheduled for Monday December 12, 2011. The ILWU Longshoremen’s union is working with police to minimize the disruption to port activities by the protestors and plans to be working unless there are health or safety issues. The scheduled protests/marches to the ports are as follows: Oakland 5:30 am and a second rally at 5pm, Long Beach 5am, and Seattle at 1pm. We will continue to report as the situation develops next Monday on its impact on container delivery/release at the terminals.
