Argentina - Cross-Andes pass still closed, expect delays Be advised that the international tunnel between Argentina (Mendoza) and Chile has been closed since Friday August 5th due to winter weather conditions. The tunnel is expected to reopen by Tuesday if weather permits. Shipments from Mendoza to Chilean ports will be affected. We will continue provide updates when the pass is closed for extended periods of time.
