Italy - General Rate Increase (GRI) POSTPONED to June 1st, 2011

Be advised that the General Rate Increase (GRI) expected to be implemented by ocean carriers on May 1st, 2011 has been postponed. The GRI will be now effective on shipments from Italy to USA as of June 1st, 2011 as follows:

• USD 150 per 20' ft container
• USD 200 per 40' ft container

We will continue to monitor the situation and mitigate the impact of rate increases wherever possible while still maintaining space commitments from carriers. For more information on the impact to your shipping needs contact your sales representative directly.
