Northern Europe (including France, Spain and Portugal) - Possible General Rate Increase (GRI) on May 1, 2011

Be advised that as current rates expire with ocean carriers at the end of April, the shipping lines are planning to implement a General Rate Increase (GRI) of $100-$150 per TEU on May 1^st 2011 for shipments from Northern Europe, including France, Spain and Portugal.

While we will do our best to mitigate the impact of rate increases while still maintaining space commitments, if the ocean carriers implement the GRI on May 1^st, 2011 we will be required to pass on this increase to our members.
