Italy - Genova Port Strike in progress

Dock workers at Genova port (Voltri terminal) went on strike December 30, 2010 and are expected to continue strike action through January 3rd, 2011. Resulting congestion from the strike will likely affect orders through the following week (Jan 3rd - 9th).

France - Dockworkers to strike January 1 - 3rd, 2011

Dockworkers at both Le Havre and Fos sur Mer terminals will strike January 1st - 3rd, 2011 over recent retirement reforms. Carriers have already announced schedule changes to skip these ports during the strike and this will cause delays to pending orders.
