France - Severe weather affecting loading schedules - updated

Be advised that due to heavy snowfall and icy conditions, transport authorities have banned trucks from the roads in the greater Paris area and Normandy region. Container collection and loadings for Friday December 20th have been postponed and container transport to Le Havre will be impacted. In addition, Belgian and Luxembourg borders are closed to trucks and this will affect containers routed to Antwerp or Rotterdam ports.

Chile - ANEF Chilean Public Workers' Strike

The Chilean public worker's union strike announced last Thursday ended. While the strike did not have an impact to Chilean vessel operations, cross-Andes shipments and container positioning for Argentina orders via Chile were delayed.
