Barcelona - Trucker strike over

The two-day strike by the truckers association servicing Barcelona port is over and operations resumed at the terminals today at 6am. Operations will be delayed while the port manages the congestion and trucking equipment availability over the next few days.

France - Ports open today, more strike action expected for the weekend

Terminals at Le Havre and Fos sur Mer are operating today but are expected to strike again this weekend. However strike action in the Le Havre port vicinity is affecting warehouse access and container loadings there. Some rail transport is back up and running, but major providers are refusing new bookings before November to clear the backlog. Major airports in France have been unaffected.
