Re:	ISF Filing Reminder for USA Imports

The US Customs Importer Security Filing (ISF) and Additional Carrier Requirement (customs "10+2") has been in a phased-in compliance period this year and full enforcement and penalties will go into effect January 26, 2010.

Importers are strongly encouraged to have ISF filing in place by November 1, 2009 and show good faith efforts and satisfactory progress during the current phased-in compliance period to qualify for any mitigation of penalties imposed by customs after the January 2010 deadline passes.
