France - Port and Rail Strike Announced: Be advised that the there will be a nationwide rail strike starting at 8pm on Wednesday May 26th through 8am Friday May 28th. In addition, Le Havre port terminals will go on strike at 6am Thursday May 27th until 6am Friday May 28th. Fos/Marseille port has not released an official announcement but is expected to participate in strike action as well. Because this will affect the release and delivery of containers at the port terminals, operations is currently working to reschedule bookings and container loadings to keep the impact at a minimum.
