Finland Port Strikes: The Finnish Transport Workers Union AKT (stevedores) implemented a port strike March 4th at 6am local time which affects all Finnish ports. Containers cannot be loaded/unloaded or released for pickup/delivery during the strike. No end-date has been announced for the strike. This follows a one-day work stoppage Wednesday by Finnish road transport workers and importers should expect delays on orders routed through Helsinki or other Finnish ports.
