Date: Thursday, March 4, 2010 Re:  Updated: Chile Operations affected by earthquake 3-4-10 UPDATE: Chile Operations affected by earthquake: The JF Hillebrand Chile office in Santiago has re-opened following a structural assessment of the building and staff is using remote network servers until local equipment can be replaced. Updates for transportation: Valparaiso port is open with normal operations San Antonio port is now operative but experiencing congestion. Carrier schedules have been adjusted (vessels/port rotations) and containers stacked at the port prior to the earthquake must be checked before loading vessels due to potential water damage from the resulting water surges. JF Hillebrand US staff and Chile staff continues to work on updating customers regarding pending import orders which have been affected.
