Date: Monday, February 1, 2010 Re:  ISF Filing - Sample Data Advice ISF Filing - Sample Data Advice: In facilitating the ISF compliance process, JF Hillebrand USA has created a new document specifically for ISF filing which you may have already been receiving since January 2010. The document, named ISF Data Advice, is automatically generated for all US import shipments where JF Hillebrand USA Inc is the forwarder and is emailed to the customs broker on file unless otherwise instructed by the importer of record. The ISF Data Advice contains the following data elements* on each container: Importer of Recorder number (EIN/Tax Identification Number - must be provided to JF Hillebrand in order to save on file and appear on reports) Seller - name and address Buyer - name and address Ship to party - name and address Manufacturer - name and address Country of origin Commodity HTS 6 Code Container Stuffing Location - name and address, for EXW shipments (FOB, FCA shipments where JF Hillebrand is not involved with the inland freight will not include this information). Consolidator - name and address Liner B/L - this information will show on the report once provided by the ocean carrier. Also included: Commodity, Import Customs Broker, Equipment Number, Booking Number, Vessel, Voyage, POL, POD, Ship Date, Arrival Date, Inco terms, PO and reference number. *Note: Importers must also secure above data elements for point of sale materials if included in any beverage shipments.
