France - Trucking Strike Possible: Truck drivers in France have announced a possible strike starting late Sunday, December 13th which would affect access to distribution centers mainly, but could extend to highways, petrol depots, ports and border crossings. Discussions with the Ministry of Transport are scheduled for Monday, December 7th, but to prepare for a possible strike JF Hillebrand France is reviewing all loadings for the week of December 14 for alternatives (earlier loading dates, alternative transport, and Antwerp sailing options, etc).
