BAF Increase from Australia/New Zealand to US effective January 1, 2010

The quarterly BAF for shipments originating in Australia and New Zealand to the US will be $520/TEU effective for ship dates of January 1, 2010 through March 31, 2010. Currently BAF is at $475/TEU through December 31, 2009.

Spain: Bilbao Port Blockage Ended

The port hauliers blockage of Bilbao has ended and the resulting backlog of containers should be resolved in the next few days. For questions on any pending orders, please contact your operations representative.
