Re:	MSC – Piracy Risk Surcharge (PRS)

Received below from MSC:

MSC will be implementing the Piracy Risk Surcharge (PRS) for Gulf of Aden for effect February 1, 2009, valid from all cargo passing the Suez Canal.

All shipments from/to South East Asia countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) going to/from US East Coast, transiting through the Gulf of Aden are subject to a Piracy Risk Surcharge of USD 20 per TEU.
