Re:

ALAMEDA CORRIDOR CHARGE – INCREASE

Dear NASA Member:

Effective November 24, 2006, the Alameda Corridor Charge will increase. This change is in response to a user fee increase by the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority.

This charge will be applied to all containers moving through the ports of Los Angeles or Long Beach transported by rail through or out of Southern California. This includes Kern, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and Imperial counties.

The charge will apply whether or not cargo actually transits the Alameda Corridor.
