Re:	TACA TARIFF INCREASE - INLAND TRANSPORTATION

Received the following from TACA:

The Trans Atlantic Conference Agreement wishes to announce to the trade that following a review of U.S. inland transportation charges, prompted by escalating third party costs across all modes of transport, the Parties find it necessary, with effect from November 1, 2006, to implement a 5% (Five percent) increase to all TACA tariff inland movements carried under Motor and Rail-Motor modes. Rail-only portions will be also increased by 5% (Five percent) with the exception of a limited number of Rail Ramp locations requiring adjustments commensurate with costs to and from those points.

Against this background TACA wishes to advise that current TACA tariff inland portions covering movements by Rail have been generally static for a number of years and Motor and Rail/Motor modes have remained unchanged since May 2004 despite further cost increases to Carriers over this period.
