Re:	VINEYARD SNAILS FROM AUSTRALIA

Dear NASA Member:

As you are all aware, the vineyard snails from Australia continue to cause major issues at the ports of arrival in the US. We have now found out from one of the lines that if you ship multiple containers on one bill of lading and a snail is found on any of the containers then all of the containers on that b/l will be subject to fumigation.

We ask you to consider this when placing your orders, and if you decide to change any internal policies regarding these shipments, please state it clearly on the purchase orders.
