| Re: | EMERGENCY BUNKER SURCHARGE (EBS) TO USA, CANADA AND MEXICO |
Dear NASA Member:
The Member Lines of AUSCLA, ACCLA and AMDA advise that in accordance with the EBS formula agreed with the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) in September 2001, the bunker fuel prices has consecutively decreased over the past five weeks. Accordingly, the Lines will introduce an EBS of US$415/TEU effective from 15 February 2006.
This EBS will apply to all cargo received into ANZDL control on or after 15 February 2006 to USA, Canada and Mexico, other than frozen and chilled meat.
The Australian Peak Shippers Association has been advised of this change.
The Member Lines are:
Australia-New Zealand Direct Line
Hamburg Sud
Lykes Lines Limited LLC
Best regards,
North American Shippers Association (NASA)
