INTERMODAL OPTIONS - WEST COAST |
Dear NASA Member:
As summer begins and we rapidly approach the peak shipping season it is imperative that we all consider the potential effects of congestion over the next 4-5 months. There are varying degrees of concern depending on which trade journal you read, but everyone agrees that congestion will be an issue again this year and especially in Los Angeles/Long Beach.
With that issue in mind, we have sourced facilities in three different ports that are able to cross dock merchandise and deliver either via motor/rail or all motor to the West Coast. Attached is a rate sheet outlining the cost of handling your cargo on this basis. We can also offer other destinations if required and ask that you contact Joe Guaracci, Intermodal Manager at JF Hillebrand USA, if you need additional quotes.

Above are all inclusive net rates on 40ft containers.
Charges include trans-loading (palletized cargo), fuel and transportation on legal weight loads. Additional handling charges apply for non-palletized containers.
All motor rates include insulated trucks.
*Add peak season surcharge of $200 from August to December for all M/R loads on rail road trailers.
