PORT OF LOS ANGELES - FREE TIME |
Dear NASA Member:
A temporary and permanent Amendment to Tariff No. 4 (General Rate Increase and Free Time Changes) for the Port of Los Angeles was approved at the Board of Harbor Commission.
Effective July 1, 2005, the free time allowed for containerized cargo will be reduced to four days for inbound and six days for outbound.
Effective July 1, 2005, the start of free time for inbound containerized cargo is changed to the day following its discharge from a vessel. Free time calculation for non-containerized cargo has not changed.
Effective July 1, 2006, the free time for containerized cargo will be reduced to three days for inbound and five days for outbound.Best regards,
