| Re: |
PORT CONGESTION SURCHARGE - LOS ANGELES AND LONG BEACH |
Dear NASA Member,
Received the following from Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement (TACA):
Since the October 13, 2004, announcement in regard to the implementation of a Congestion Surcharge at the above ports, Carriers have continued to monitor operations at these locations. The latest assessment shows some relief in delays and improved vessel turnaround times. This allows the Congestion Surcharge to be suspended subject to further ongoing monitoring of performance.
To this end, TACA wishes to advise that:
The Parties to TACA are:
Atlantic Container Line AB
Hapag Lloyd Container Linie GmbH
Mediterranean Shipping Co. SA
A P Moller-Maersk Sealand
Nippon Yusen Kaisha
Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd
P&O Nedlloyd Ltd
Best regards,
North American Shippers Association (NASA)
