Re:	CRITICAL SITUATION IN GENOVA

Dear NASA Member:

Presently there is a police investigation underway within the Port of Genova regarding alleged allegations of illegal imports/exports through the port. This situation is causing severe delays in all customs operations within the Voltri terminal.

It is not known how long the investigations will last or how long it will be before a reasonable normal work flow can resume. Meetings are taking place in an attempt to resolve this situation. Additionally, high winds are also contributing to significant delays in the port.
