POSSIBLE NATIONWIDE PORT TRUCK STRIKE |
Dear NASA Member:
There has been talked of a possible nationwide port truck strike at ocean terminals from June 28 through July 4th. The action is because of the combination of low overall rates paid by the lines and rising fuel prices that are not being compensated by lines. Expected are sporadic shutdowns next week on the trucker side.
We will keep you apprised as the situation develops.
