Re: Effects of a port strike in Lisbon Quay-Liscont

Dear NASA Member:

Numerous steamship lines have been prohibited from loading their containers at Lisbon Quay-Liscont due to repercussions stemming from a strike on Tuesday. Local truckers have also retaliated by cutting access to the quay resulting in the stoppage of loading and unloading containers.

Currently all weekend departures have been cancelled. We will keep you well informed as to the status of this situation.
