INLAND
FUEL CHARGE INTRODUCED BY MEDITERRANEAN/CANADA CONFERENCE All inland trucking moves in Canada will now have a fuel inland surcharge. The percent charges will be fixed at 6 percent of trucking rates in the Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario provinces; 5 percent in Newfoundland and Saskatchewan; 3 percent in Alberta; 8.5 percent in Manitoba; and various other accounts will vary depending on inland destination in British Columbia. |
