Re: EFAF - Reduction in BAF Notice

Dear NASA Member:

Carriers providing direct service within the Australia and New Zealand trade from the United States have conducted the quarterly review of the Emergency Fuel Adjustment Factor (EFAF) and wish to advise that effective March 15th, 2003 the new EFAF will be as follows:

        $108.00 per TEU

The carriers will continue to monitor the EFAF on a three month cycle, and adjustments will be made following the review period with appropriate notice given to the trade.

Carriers include:
        Australia New Zealand Direct Line (ANZDL)
        Columbus Line
        CMA-CGM
        P&O Nedlloyd
