Date: Tuesday, April 15, 2003 Re: Strike Announcement in Argentina and Chile Dear NASA Member: We would like to inform you that there has been an unexpected and indefinite strike effecting the international route between Argentina and Chilean ports. This unfortunate circumstance went into effect on April 13th, 2003 at 12:00hrs. The main factor resulting in this strike stems from the discussion of wage increases by the Transport Unions. There are several meetings being held at this time in the hopes that a mutual agreement can be met between both parties.
