March 25th 2003 Re: Bill of Lading Fee and Security Documentation Charge Dear NASA Member: Despite our efforts to stall the process and convince lines to waive these new charges, effective April 1st 2003, all shipments will be assessed both a B/L Fee and a Security Documentation Charge. As you may already be aware, the latter are being implemented by all carriers to assist them in cost-recovery of additional processing expenses incurred since implementation of the C-TPAT Program. Specifically, these charges will amount to: B/L Fee $25.00 USD per B/L – Supplier Security Documentation Charge $30.00 USD per B/L – Supplier If you require further information please do not hesitate to contact our office.
